Ansgar Baums has been working for ERSTE LESUNG as a senior consultant since June 2023. His expertise lies in the areas of digital policy and geopolitical risk management.
For more than 17 years, he is engaging with issues of global strategy, IT security and economic and innovation policy in various positions at associations and companies. Ansgar has managed the government relations of technology companies in various functions, built up the Global Strategy Program for a company and maintains close contacts with the relevant stakeholders. He is currently a Helmut Schmidt Fellow of the German Marshall Fund and the Zeit Foundation and is writing a book on geopolitics and IT.
