Nicholas Höhns joined ERSTE LESUNG as Associate Consultant in Berlin in November 2023. Nicholas studied European Studies and International Relations in the Netherlands and the United States. In his thesis, he focused on globalization trends in the EU and the effects on transatlantic partnerships as well as the security cooperation within the EU following the refugee crisis. Nicholas gained professional experience during his time at the Munich Security Conference (MSC), where he assisted in the development and realization of the MSC’s Communication Plan as well as accompanying various international delegations. He gained further insights into the European security architecture during his time at the European Centre of Excellence for Civilian Crisis Management.
