Dr. Richard Ralfs has been working as a consultant for ERSTE LESUNG in Berlin and Brussels since August 2022. His thematic focus is on strategic and cross-sectoral issues related to digital transformation. In addition to his work as managing partner of a trade fair/event agency, he has been actively shaping the network and digital policy debate since 2010 as a politician and policy advisor in various offices and positions at the federal and state level, including as senior policy advisor for the topics of digital transformation and digital economy in the German Bundestag. He is active on a voluntary basis in relevant committees with the Green Party as well as in non-partisan digital policy rounds. After completing his MA in sociology, media/communication studies and psychology in Düsseldorf, he wrote his doctoral thesis on the “Structure and Function of Public-Media Communication.
