Johannes Janik has been working at Erste Lesung since June 2026. Through stays abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Ankara, Singapore, New York, and Vienna, he has gained a wide range of international experience. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English Philology at Freie Universität Berlin, and before beginning his master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Vienna, he already worked for a Berlin-based public affairs consultancy. At Erste Lesung, he applies his expertise to issues related to digital, geopolitical, energy, and European policy.
