Richard Ralfs has been working for ERSTE LESUNG in Berlin and Brussels since August 2022, initially as a consultant and now as a director. His main responsibility is the strategic and content-related orientation and the day-to-day management of the operational consulting work carried out by our client teams. His focus is on strategic and cross-sectoral topics related to digital transformation.
In addition to his many years of experience as managing partner of a trade fair/event agency, since 2010 he has been actively shaping the network and digital policy debate as a specialist politician and political advisor in various offices and positions at the federal and state level, including as Senior Policy Advisor for the topics of digital transformation and the digital economy in the German Bundestag. He is also involved on a voluntary basis in relevant committees of the Green Party and in cross-party digital policy groups.
After completing his MA in sociology, media/communication science, and psychology in Düsseldorf, he earned his PhD under Richard Münch on the “Structure and Function of Public Media Communication.”
